The NEIPA, New England Indian Pale Ale, is a style of IPA brewed using oats. The aim is to keep the floral scents of the beer by adding some sweetness to it in order to balance out the strong bitterness of a regular IPA.
The use of oats and wheats gives it a hazy colour. On the nose, the beer has a very pronounced aroma of strawberry and tropical fruits. It has a rounded medium body.
It is a NEIPA with a Southern character!
